A warranty is a manufacturer’s promise that a product will meet specific standards or perform as expected.
What is Not Covered?
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Non-branded accessories
- Batteries
- Printer printheads
- Perfumes
- Toys
- Apparel
- Consumable products

Warranty Duration
Our warranty provides coverage for defects in material, design, and workmanship discovered after purchase. A default 12-month warranty applies to eligible items purchased from us.

Warranty Start Date
The warranty period begins on the date the product is received.
Warranty Repairs
All warranty repairs against products bought from COSCO will be handled by the authorized service centers.
When Does the Warranty Become Invalid?
The warranty is void under the following circumstances:
- Damage resulting from accidents, liquid exposure, physical damage, misuse, neglect, or modifications by unauthorized service centers.
- Damage caused by power surges or electrical fluctuations.
- Use of incompatible accessories leading to damage.
- Environmental factors such as moisture, dust, extreme temperatures, pest infestation.

Don’t get stuck with a big repair bill if the unexpected happens to your computer, tablet or cell phone. COSCO Shield insurance enhances your manufacturer warranty and gives you extended coverage when the warranty ends.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
In-Store Warranty Claim:
- Bring the item to any COSCO store along with the original tax invoice sent to your registered email or phone number.
- Visit the Customer Service desk and inform the staff that you wish to service the item under a warranty claim.
Online Warranty Claim:
- Email your order details to support@mycosco.lk
- Our Customer Service team will contact you with the necessary instructions.
Process
We will inspect the product to determine if it is covered by the warranty. If covered, we will repair or replace the product at no cost to you. If not covered, we will inform you of the repair or replacement costs.
General Terms & Conditions
- Repair or replacement of a product under this warranty does not extend or renew the warranty period. The original warranty terms set by the manufacturer remain applicable.
- If your product is unrepairable but still covered under the standard warranty, we will either provide a replacement or issue a full refund if a replacement is unavailable.
Service Policy
- Customers are responsible for protecting their personal data and device information.
- Before submitting a device for repair, customers should back up their data, disable Find My iPhone (FMI), Find My Mobile (FMM), or Find My Device (FMD), and remove any locks or passwords.
Out-of-Warranty Repair Fees
If the service center determines that your product is no longer under warranty, they may offer to repair it for a fee. You are not required to accept this offer and may choose to have the product returned without repair.
